information is being provided to assist Summit partners in their planning for

Influenza season typically
peaks in February
This
advertisement from The National Foundation for Infectious Disease (NFID) is
intended to encourage healthcare providers to vaccinate their patients against
influenza into January and later this season, as part of our efforts to help
extend influenza immunization into December, January and later.
Please feel free to use this ad, as appropriate, when disseminating influenza
vaccination messages to your constituents via upcoming communications in January
or later. The ad can also be used as an educational flyer, poster or handout.
NFID's ad campaign, made possible by an unrestricted grant to the NFID from
sanofi pasteur, will appear in the January editions of the American Medical
News, Family Practice News, and Internal Medicine News
targeting office and hospital-based healthcare providers.
NFID continues to conduct additional activities to encourage influenza
vaccination into December, January and beyond, in support of CDC's messages, and
will provide further updates on their efforts, as they are available.
